One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. However, when detected early, survival rates can reach up to 90%. That’s why, this October 19th, International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Andamur and WOW have decided to join the cause with a campaign that promotes prevention.
To this end, four female truck drivers—Karima Bustamante, Mar González, Eva García, and Andrea García—have participated in a video campaign discussing the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle, the need for self-examination, recognizing symptoms, and attending relevant medical check-ups.
Additionally, to support awareness of the disease, all customers who visited Andamur this Saturday received the official bracelet of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Lastly, the entire Andamur team received the official highlighter from the AACC as part of their campaign “With you, pink is more than just a color”, along with key prevention tips provided by this organization.
At Andamur and WOW, we want to show our support to all women affected by this disease and their loved ones.
