As every March 8 since 2019, at Andamur we pay tribute to the work of women in transportation with our #SoyCamionera campaign. For the seventh consecutive year, we reaffirm our commitment to the visibility of female truck drivers through the slogan ‘Strong, Capable, Truckers: WOMEN’.
Women’s Day at Andamur: Recognition in Motion
From March 3 to 9, our Service Areas are dressed in purple to celebrate Women’s Week. During these days, all truck drivers who pass through our facilities will receive a WOW (Women on the Way) gift, consisting of:
– Commemorative bracelet
– Campaign sticker
– Card with a QR code to access this year’s gift: a set of windbreaker and cap with the campaign slogan.
In addition, they will be able to immortalize their visit to Andamur with a large photocall in the shape of a truck, designed to highlight their important work in the transport sector.
Gifts with History: A Special Detail Every Year
Since the beginning of this initiative, every year we have wanted to surprise the truckers with an exclusive gift, designed to accompany them in their day-to-day life on the road:
– 2019: Campaign banner to decorate their cab.
– 2020: Free lunch in our Service Areas.
– 2021: Vest for cold days on the road.
– 2022: Sweatshirt for comfort behind the wheel.
– 2023: Toiletry bag with personal care products.
– 2024: Travel bag and matching towel, designed for personal well-being and sports practice on the road.
Stories that Inspire: Voices of Truck Drivers
At Andamur, we believe in the importance of sharing stories that inspire and make visible the reality of women truck drivers. Since 2020, we have given voice to women in the sector through exclusive audiovisual pieces:
2020: Cruz, Vanessa and Luz told us about their beginnings, challenges and passions in the Camioneras series.
– 2021: Their own trucker colleagues talked about the value of women in the sector and their professional future.
– 2023: Their sons and daughters were the main characters, sharing their admiration for their mothers’ work.
This year, we will learn the story of overcoming and dreams of María Dolores Rodríguez and her daughter Aroa, a testimony that unites past, present and future in the world of transport.
